Tynise Penn, NP-C

Tynise Penn, MSN, NP-C, is an experienced family nurse practitioner at Rubix Health, a telehealth practice based in Tallahassee, Florida, and Southfield, Michigan. She has more than 20 years of experience in nursing, including 15 years as a nurse practitioner. She specializes in mental health and is certified to treat people ages 12 and older.

Tynise began her nursing education by taking credits at Tennessee State University in Nashville. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and her Master of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University in Detroit. Tynise is also working on her Doctor of Nursing Practice coursework at the University of Michigan in Flint. 

She’s certified by and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and maintains her medical credentials by completing continuing education courses.

Tynise cares for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and numerous other mental health challenges. She uses psychotherapy and other advanced treatment modalities to restore patients’ mental health and quality of life.
